What types of cases are automatically heard by the US Supreme Court?

Like, I know that the Supreme Court automatically hears cases involving different countries and states, but what other cases automatically go the Supreme Court?What types of cases are automatically heard by the US Supreme Court?
Currently, original jurisdiction cases commonly handled by the US Supreme Court are disputes between two or more states, typically over boundary lines, water claims or property issues. Federal Courts are granted original jurisdiction in all cases involving interpretation of US laws, maritime law, citizens of different states, cases between ambassadors and representatives of foreign countries, state govts, and cases where the US is a party to the case.What types of cases are automatically heard by the US Supreme Court?
The only ones I know of are reference cases presented directly by the Federal government.
None automatically go to the Supreme Court. People can try to appeal a case to the Supreme Court, but the Supreme Court decides which cases they want to hear.
